  • Introduce students to the ARTIST OBLIGATIONS in every Recording Contract.
  • Look at and define each clause and evaluate its importance to both the artist and the record label.
  • Be able to UNDERSTAND, EVALUATE and NEGOTIATE each clause to effectively construct a basic recording contract.
  • Incorporate business principles of Negotiation into how it works inside of the Record side of the business.
